What is your primary product or service?
Brand new kind of concept since you can change your house out, not just a service for people who want to get rid of stuff or buy stuff for cheap. They’re kind of an exchange house, a place where they meet.
What they’ve done is brought recycling to the “yuppies” and isn’t just broken bottles and piles of old things- it’s a whole different concept.
Clothing- you don’t wear the same thing all the time and won’t wear it out, same thing with furniture and jewelry.
They’re working to sell the best deal for their consignors, but also trying to get the buyers a good deal. They sell thousands of items a day, so they have a good idea of pricing. Their employees determine what comes in and what the price is and they’re not on commission.
